DESCRIPTION:Beginning this autumn\, Karen Pearce leads a new professional development programme for AMI 3-6 diploma holders: Montessori Unwrapped. This new online study programme deepens your understanding of Montessori pedagogy and practice. The broad study includes: \n\nThe ‘art’ of presenting\nThe use of ‘Curves of Work’ in the Children’s House\nUnderstanding human development through observation\nClassroom management\nSuccessful collaboration with parents\nSupporting team development\n\nFormat\nThe programme consists of three modules\, each of 10 x 2-hour Zoom sessions\, held weekly on Wednesdays from 4.30pm – 6.30pm (U.K. time). The first hour is a study of Montessori theory and the second hour puts the principles into practice. \nDates\nModule 1 – 21st September 2022 – 23rd November 2022 (no session on 26th October)\nModule 2 – 11th January 2023 – 22nd March 2023 (no session on 22nd February)\nModule 3 – 3rd May 2023 – 12th July 2023 (no session on 14th June) \nFurther information\nA fuller programme description is available here. \nCosts\nThe cost for each module is £500\, payable before the start of the module. \nApplication\nTo apply for a place on Module 1\, please complete the application form and return it to info@themontessoriplace.org.uk. \n
